— Aura is a cabinet made of traditional Murano mirror. The complex decoration is carefully manufactured using the traditional techniques of the Murano glass and mirror making. The company, AVV Barbini, belong to an ancient family of glass makers present in Murano (Venice) since the second half of the XVI century.

Design inspiration

The design combines art deco inspirations, contemporary graphics and mystical suggestions. Particularly evocative are the works of Karl Friedrich Schinkel, like the drawings for the scenography for “The enchanted flute” of Mozart; Roman Petrovich Tyrtov (Ertè) and Otto Wagner.
